ABOUT US
The Afro-American Sports Federation is a cultural organizationn for Afro-Americans to learn about their indigenous and traditional sports and games.The organization was founded in 2010 by Michael Nakasissa. The initial focus was research on indigenous sports of Africa,but the organization narrowed it's mission to just west Africans of our ethnic heritage.It is that research over a period of 10 years,some of which will be featured on this website.I decided to launch a website to reach a wider audience.The organization is based in Atlanta,Ga.
